Ouch that hurts!

This is a short post, but we wanted to let you all know about Margo and the baby today.

Baby News:
Margo came home from a trip to Target with a pain in her stomach. She thought it was gas or just stomach cramps and was only slightly concerned until she violently vomitted and the pain persisted. I got a call in the office around 1:45 that she needed to go see the doctor, so we drove down and met with the doctor. After an exam, some blood work, a non-stress test (NST), fetal monitor and 2 lollipops the doctors found nothing wrong. The pain was still present, so they ordered another ultrasound to check for possible fibroids since they are known to run genetically (thanks a lot Tammy!). About two hours later we were at the hospital and Margo was again covered in the ultrasound greenish goo. Basically they told us 3 things:
1) The baby is fine, and has gained almost a half pound since Thursday. Now if you are quick with your math, like D.O.D. and Ed, you know that translates to 7 more pounds between now and the due date. The baby is 2.5 pounds today, so is it fair to assume the baby will be 9.5 pounds or so? Anyone wanna make a bet? Sorry online bets will not be honored. Cash only Elio.
2) No fibroid, so the source of Margo's belly pain remains a mystery. One theory they presented leads into their third point.
3) Margo's 'fluids' are still in the low-normal range. They AGAIN told her to increase her fluid intake and try some bed rest. Because of this, she is still going in for another ultrasound next week some time. This baby will be one of the most photographed fetuses ever I think.

In other news:
I agreed in principal to sell my car to a kid going off to college this summer. I met him tonight and he drove it and loves it and we are planning on meeting next week to complete the sale. If it happens, it will be hard to say 'GoodBye' to Orange Crush. (sniff, snifff) Be ready for a few emotional weekends until I get over the girl.

This is just the first of many partings. First the car, then the kid goes off to Kindergarten, Then first thru eighth grade, then college and finally marriage (yeah). At that point they figure out the problem and run right home to Mommy. Oh, Yeah... good to hear Margo and the Baby are doing well. That is most important.
